Managing Director - In 1980 Lance joined ICL Data Services in Durban and specialized in selling Point of Sale systems to local liquor chain stores and some of the major Durban department stores. In 1983, Lance took a short departure from selling retail systems and was instrumental in developing and marketing a local authority software solution to the majority of Local Authorities in Natal. This proved so successful that Lance was National Sales Executive of the year, twice in a row. 1987 saw Lance furthering his goals within the retail industry joining the ICL Retail Division in Johannesburg servicing Retailers such as, Stuttafords Greatermans and Metro Cash 'n Carry. Two years later, Lance was presented with an opportunity to establish a new venture in South Africa and started The Warwick-Bepos Group SA. WBG quickly became the chosen supplier to a number of Retailers for WBG's Unix based retail products. After a number of successful years, it was time to look at replacing the aging WBG Unix systems. Lance felt that a Windows based solution was more appropriate for the long term benefit of customers and WBG UK had no plans to move onto this area of development. This prompted Lance to establish Expert Retail Systems with the objective of developing retail systems that conformed to Microsoft technology and standards. In a bid to move ERS globally, Lance moved his family to Australia to set up ERS Australia. The Australian company focused on delivering cloud based solutions and infrastructure support to small to medium sized business's on the Gold Coast.
