Using Microsoft SQL Server as our database server has proven beyond doubt that data integrity and optimal performance is not a nice to have feature but a standard feature of SQL Server. One of features we liked most about using SQL Server was its ability to scale to meet the most demanding of requirements when required. The user interface was developed in record time using an in-house rapid application development tool, Business Retail Management suite - (BRM), which allowed the rapid generation of code and also provided the user with a clean uniform look and feel within the application.

 ERS Australia today announced that is was extending its successful Corporate service to the broader market in Australia. Initially ERS intends to provide local businesses and home owners on the Gold Coast with professional Computer Support service for Macs and Windows PC's and tablets at affordable prices. With many of the Service providers demanding close to $200-00 per hour for similar services, ERS intends to offer the same quality of service at $110-00 per hour, making it far more affordable for our customers. With more and more devices per household and business, we are noticing a growing demand for our Tech's to integrate Mac and PC's on networks.  ERS today announced the appointment of Trade Link Retail Systems (Pty)Ltd as their strategic partner and Master Franchise holder for the African Continent. 

"I am delighted that this appointment has been made. This is an important milestone in our 20 year history and re-enforces ERS's commitment to the continued development of our products and support of our customers," Lance Wallis, ERS's CEO commented on the announcement. 

"Guided by our Product Development Director, Paul Gwynne, Trade Link Retail Systems will be responsible for the continued development and support of our products. Trade Link have secured additional personal to take on this task. One of the most compelling reasons in deciding to appoint Trade Link as our partner has been our successful relationship with them over the past six years installing Retail solutions in Zimbabwe and South Africa. The two Companies software solutions have complimented each other and this now gives us the opportunity of providing a more unified product portfolio and support infrastructure to service our growing number of clients." Wallis said. 

At the same time, it was announced that Expert Retail Systems (Pty) Australia had been established to focus on supplying support and RetailManager to customers in the Pacific Rim and Australian markets.
